I am thrilled to announce a new collaborative effort with my colleague Don Sloane designed to provide continuing substance abuse treatment and outpatient care through a recovery support group aimed at professionals.
We have launched Reflections Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment. Reflections is offering an after/continuing care group for “Professionals in Recovery” that will meet Wednesdays, 7:30 to 9:00pm.
Reflections targets a niche population, addressing a unique need in the recovery community. It will be 12-step based, not “requiring” participation in 12-step meetings, but working from their principles and tapping into their profoundly successful ideology. The program will also focus on relapse prevention, exploring relapse triggers and offering behavioral, cognitive and interventional guidance so that patients can increase their self-awareness and stay clean and sober one day at a time.
Reflections is appropriate as a stand-alone therapeutic option. It is also appropriate for patients in individual therapy, and we look forward to collaborating with individual therapists to team around patient health. Specifically, Reflections is designed for the following audiences:
Susan Berlin LICSW, CASAC, ICADC & Don Sloane, MSOD, CPCC bring over 50 years of experience supporting people in recovery from substance abuse and behavioral addictions
Reflections helping addicts, their families and friends live healthier and happier lives
