Marriage Counseling and Therapy
Are you having trouble in your marriage?
Then marriage counseling can help.
In marriage counseling, as the therapist, I would see both partners in the marriage or relationship at the same time. From an unbiased point of view, I would observe the interactions between the two of you, and assess your relationship for:
- Power struggles,
- Different communication styles
- Unrealistic expectations
- Stressors
I will work with you in marriage counseling to help you understand what is happening in the relationship dynamic. I help you both to see what is often a “shared responsibility” for the problems, challenges and successes in your relationship. As this gets clearer, then you both can learn to change how you interact with each other. Your relationship can get better!
If you feel that your marriage may be in trouble, marriage therapy may be a great way for you to save your relationship, and for you to better understand yourself, your spouse, and your lives together.
